Round white buoy with blue or white and orange line: Used to moor or immobilize a vessel. To comply with Canadian navigation aid standards, it is white and orange, with the orange covering the upper third. Also available in white with blue line. These are buoys with a hook on the top designed to moor a boat. The principle is to not have to drop anchor.
